Ibuki
Growing up in the country side of Japan, I was immersed in nature, which inspired my first photographs. Though I had a rural upbringing, I was given the opportunity to work at a prominent photo studio in Tokyo.
Once I was there, I grew to resent the work culture of Tokyo and decided to move to America to be able to rethink my vision and experience the vast variations of terrain the United States has to offer.
Here I met many wonderful people and I've found that the most beautiful part of nature are the humans who inhabit it. I love photographing a diverse range of people and I hope to someday see a richer representation in our media.
